Susan Medlin, the founder of the Texas Trail Roundup, has been diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a progressive and fatal neuromuscular disease that gradually takes away the body’s ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe.
