September 2, 2017: Walk in the Japanese Tea Gardens

The Texas Trail Roundup is hosting a walk that starts at the Japanese Tea Garden, goes through Trinity University, wanders through the historic Monte Vista neighborhood and ends back at the Garden. Chose either a 10km or a 5 km route. Either walk is $3. Both routes are rated 2A because of the stairs at the Garden. Start your walk any time between 7:00 and 9:00 am and end by noon. The Jingu House will open ealry (10:00am) for lunch. Come walk with us!

AVA Special Programs include: Amphitheatres, Cities in Song, Doin’ The Louisiana Purchase, Food For Thought, Make a Wish at a Water Fountain, National Register of Historic Places

Directions to the Start Point: Heading north on 281, take the Stadium Drive / N. St. Mary’s exit. Turn right on N. St. Mary’s. Heading south on 281, take the Mulberry Ave. N. St. Mary’s exit. Turn left on N. St. Mary’s.

. Noncompetitive. Walk, jog or run at your own pace. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The event will be held regardless of weather.
